About Kennedy Electronics |
Founded in 1986 by Stan Kennedy in Chicago, Kennedy Electronics has been a pioneer in the scale industry, with a legacy of innovation that has shaped the way airlines manage baggage handling. As one of the first companies to manufacture airline baggage scales, we set the standard for precision and reliability in airport operations.
Our journey began with Northwest Airlines in Minneapolis, MN (now part of Delta Airlines), as our first customer. Building on that success, we became the first to design and develop the low-profile scales now widely used in airports across the United States. Continental Airlines (now part of United Airlines) was an early adopter of this transformative technology, further cementing our reputation as an industry leader.
Over the years, Kennedy Electronics has evolved and grown, with our headquarters relocating from Chicago to Missouri, and now to California. Wherever we've been, our commitment to innovation and excellence has remained steadfast.
Today, Kennedy Electronics continues to lead the way in scale technology, providing cutting-edge solutions tailored to the unique needs of our clients. From our groundbreaking beginnings to our ongoing advancements, we remain dedicated to delivering products that ensure accuracy, durability, and efficiency. |
